"A Garden of Vietnamese Lyrics & Verse, Volume 1" is now available on Amazon as of Sept. 8, 2019. It's a bilingual edition, 556 pages, and contains over 130 selected song lyrics and poems of more than 90 Vietnamese authors and songwriters, since the 13th century onward. Translated by a bilingual poet, with over three decades of writing poetry since his first poems in English in high school.
The list of famous authors include: Trần Hưng Đạo, Nguyễn Du, Vũ Hoàng Chương, Hà Thượng Nhân, Đinh Hùng, Nguyễn Bính, Thế Lữ, Văn Cao, Nguyễn Công Trứ, Bà Huyện Thanh Quan, Hồ Xuân Hương, Lam Phương, Trần Thiện Thanh, Đông Hồ, Ngân Giang, Tuệ Nga, Từ Công Phụng, Ngô Thụy Miên, Vĩnh Điện, Phạm Duy, Trịnh Công Sơn, etc.
The book contains several beautiful paintings by Thanh-Trí, Nguyễn Sơn, and exotic calligraphic paintings by Văn Tấn Phước and Vũ Hối.
